The breakfast that is included was a perfect respite to eat and drink in a relaxing atmosphere with beautiful guitar music on the speakers. While I hate to mix business with my vacation, I had to have an unavoidable work-related zoom meeting and everyone on the call was blown away by the hotel room. A+ service by everyone in the hotel.

Stepping outside the amazing bedroom and into the light-filled library, guests can enjoy a drink and a quiet read in front of the fireplace. I cannot praise Torel 1884 Suites & Apartments enough - we absolutely loved it!!!

Rooms have high ceilings and spacious, only downside is due to the building layout and rustic door design there's not much noise insulation. You can hear outside and presumably those outside can hear you! Service was excellent, professional and polite throughout. The included breakfast is very generous portion-wise and good variety. The Library area (see photo) is a great place to relax with a drink or just pass the time reading. Overall really enjoyed my time there, would happily stay again.

(Original) Beautifully appointed hotel, friendly staff who genuinely care about your experience. The library is a lovely place to relax and the bar intimate and stylish. We stayed in a gorgeous room with a deep bath and very comfy bed (#3). However... There was no door between the toilet and the rest of the room! It was round a corner, but still very much in the same space, meaning there was zero privacy. This definitely affected our stay in terms of practicality, and also seems like a strange design choice in what is otherwise a very romantic hotel. I am unsure if this is the case for all rooms, but would recommend checking the layout of the room if you plan to stay here.
