Our recent stay at Sofitel Lisbon Liberdade was exceptional! The rooms had the MOST comfortable beds of all out 22 nights in Portugal. Exactly what we needed after out 15 hours flying. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The location was perfect, offering convenience and easy access to explore Lisbon. Breakfast was fantastic, homemade omelets and delicious pastries were such a great welcome to the fantastic food Portugal has to offer. Dont buy breakfast here!!!! While service was kind I felt robbed for breakfast package, they will charge you even if you dont go. The food in Lisbon for breakfast is much better than 22$ for a hotel breakfast!!! Sellva and Zenith are next door and so much better for breakfast. My wife was sick all days and they still would not refund me. They will try and sell you this package just say No! Just get order that day not ahead of time if you do decide Very disappointed Great soap products for bathroom. Storage in superior king is quite tight for a couple traveling international. Fantastic Stay with Excellent Service I booked a room for my parents at the Sofitel Lisbon and was thoroughly impressed by the level of service we received. When my parents weren't completely happy with their initial room, the hotel staff quickly accommodated them by changing their room with no hassle. What to expect from a 5 star hotel. Friendly staff, great food and most comfortable beds. Location very prominent in Lisbon and just a few minutes of walking to the main city centre. I stayed at the Sofitel last September for 2 nights. The hotel and room were beautiful and very clean. It is in the perfect location for sightseeing and the staff were super helpful and amazing. Our room was immaculate. The staff were all amazingly professional and helpful. The location is directly across from the Avenida station on the Blue line. These were wonderful, but it was all the small courtesies that makes me wish I could give a 10+ rating: the concierge who walked outside with us to make sure we knew where the pharmacy was located; the cleaning staff who worked like secret ninjas; the chamomile tea before we went to sleep; the diptyque (!!!) hand soap that smelled soooooo good; the helpfulness of the multilingual front desk staff; And did I mention the coffee, pastries and fresh squeezed orange juice at breakfast?
