Villa is high end and homely at the same time and the hosts are warm knowledgeable and attentive. I would highly recommend a stay here and will definitely be returning!

Owen has been developing this facility for two years and it now offers a pool and fitness/work out space as well as a large common room with a veranda, pool table and sofas. The hotel is well located – easy to walk to the beach or through the protected nature area at the back of the property. It is also close enough to walk down the main street to visit Vila Real de Santo Antonio for eating or shopping. The area is flat, and many roads have bike paths where ordinary people are riding ordinary bikes to commute, or sight see.

(Original) We stumbled upon U Fitness hotel after a brief visit to the area earlier in our holiday and decided we wanted to come back to explore further. We were so pleased to have found this place, it was absolutely perfect for us and Owen was a fantastic host! We are both into our fitness and the surrounding area is ideal for this, not to mention Owen has a gym on site, pool and direct access to the nature reserve! Owen is also a fantastic personal trainer and I had a really fun boxing workout with him! The rooms are lovely and spacious and there is a lounge/breakfast room upstairs. Owen was very accommodating for our needs especially as we booked very last minute. A very laid back feel and ideal if you wanted to use it as a base for training. Beach is nearby, athletics track and 50m pool. Would highly recommend, you'll get a wonderful welcome and a much more personalised approach than the other places around We will be back!!

The location is absolutely stunning, within walking distance to the amazing beaches and the terrace has amazing views of the forest and you can even see as far as the lighthouse! The interior is beautiful, I loved the traditional tiles in the hallway and the bedrooms are so stylish, the headboards are gorgeous. The living space upstairs is so spacious it even has a pool table and table football, and next to the massive terrace which is such a beautiful place to have breakfast. The UFitness hospitality is second to none, they catered for all needs and offered a yummy selection for breakfast.

There was a terrace to have breakfast in the morning and the hosts took the time out to chat and offered some great tips on local places to visit. Lovely friendly people. Even took them up on their offer to hire a bike and go for a ride to the beachfront. All in all a perfect getaway ;-)
