The quality is extremely low. Gambas and claim tagliatelle was almost empty, just some frozen mini shrimps. The service was awful- we stranded at the entry for a long time and nobody wanted to welcome any guests. We came in a group of 8 people. We waited 1.5 hours, they brought us cold food, undercooked rice, mixed up the order, brought together burgers, just meat. Some extra fish... pasta with shrimp -there was only 1 king shrimp. The service is very poor. IN THE END an extra 2 pastes and juice were added to the bill… Terribly!!! NEVER EVER BEING TREATED MORE POORLY BY A RESTAURANT. Made a lunch reservation almost one week in advance through TheFork for a group of 12 persons. Received an email and text message to reconfirm booking approximately 3 hours before and received confirmation after doing so. Drove one hour from Funchal to the Restaurant, where I arrived exactly on time, where they told me at the restaurant - with a cold face - that they don't have my reservation in their (manually kept) reservation system and that the restaurant was fully booked. Staff of the restaurant didn't put in any effort to accommodate us, although they found our reservation without any difficulty in their automated system (read computer) and there still were a lot of empty tables. Their excuse the system was down, which is a very bad excuse for overlooking my reservation as it was found without any difficulty in their computer. Dirigi uma hora do Funchal até o Restaurante, onde cheguei exatamente na hora certa, onde me disseram no restaurante - com uma cara fria - que não tinham minha reserva no sistema de reservas (mantido manualmente) e que o restaurante estava totalmente reservado. Os funcionários do restaurante não fizeram nenhum esforço para nos acomodar, embora tenham encontrado a nossa reserva sem qualquer dificuldade no seu sistema automatizado (leia-se computador) e ainda houvesse muitas mesas vazias. A desculpa deles de que o sistema estava fora do ar, o que é uma péssima desculpa para ignorando a minha reserva, pois foi encontrada sem qualquer dificuldade no seu computador.

Frozen fish in restaurant on Madeira? And cold… didnt expect this. Also very small Poncha and risotto with bunch of butter and only a little bit of grana padano dissapointed a lot. I don’t recommend eating here - the food was not good at all, the only thing worth paying a visit is the view, but the food itself is terrible and ridiculously expensive. For that price you’d better go somewhere esle. Both of us had sympthoms of food poisoning (including vomiting all night after the dinner here 😣). The best restaurant of the entire Island of Madeira! We stayed 10 days discovering the island and this restaurant is the best one! I'm very disappoint with the rating of 4.2! This place is 5/5 stars! Food is fresh and super high quality. I really can't believe someone give one star rating at this restaurant! Absolutely impossible to understand for me! Me and all my family we had a great time and excellent dinner! Reasonable prices also for the quality, service and quantity! 100% recommended with no hesitation!
