You can’t beat the exterior and ambiance. Beautiful arches! The service is fantastic, so fantastic. The food is on the higher end price wise but also quality wise. Everything we had was delicious. The porco preto basically melted in my mouth. I don’t like meringue but their dessert was beautiful, interactive, and not too sweet. It was honestly a great meal even though we were exhausted that night. We had the red wine that’s made there, and it was very good. They also gave us glasses of champagne that’s made there (well sparkling wine) which is our favorite way to start a meal! Even better we were able to bring what we couldn’t finish to our room.

The Divinus restaurant service was very inviting and quite attentive. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. Without dwelling on negative details I will only say that I do not think the food lives up the venue and service. I think the review ratings are quite inflated. For the price point of this fine dining establishment I think the chef will need to do better. Closing on a positive note, I did speak privately with the head of service and he listened and acknowledged my opinions and offered some compensation for my concerns without challenging my opinions. I do hope the kitchen is able to significantly improve the food because this is a special place to visit.

Chef and staff quickly adapted to one of us being vegan and accomodated us incredibly well. The cheesecake was one of the best desserts ive ever eaten. As constructive criticism, the lack of ambience music is not something Im accustumed to and if you stay in the hotel and have breakfast in the same venue its hard to make the transition to a fine dining restaurant. Fortunately both the staff and food make up for it and will of course return whenever Im in Évora.

Somos hóspedes , resolvemos jantar hoje no hotel, eu pedi peixe com risoto de camarão ( o peixe era tão pequeno que assustei, o risoto estava horrível,não consegui comer, estava péssimo) , meu marido pediu bacalhau( primeiro que parecia prato para criança, muito pequeno o bacalhau, e horrível) , triste né. Chegamos no quarto , pedimos um sanduíche.
