(Original) On a little weekend getaway with my partner - I discovered this restaurant via google and with the stellar reviews decided to give it a try. Jenn was a super lovely hostess/waitress with superb customer service and respect which was such a huge change from the service I am used to in Germany living there the last 6 years but since I grew up in the US it was a nice feeling to experience again. The food was so beautifully plated and reminded of my teenage obsession with the food network which led to my passion for food experiences. The colors, the taste and the attention to detail was so obvious the love the chef has for his work. At the end we were gifted a small one bite dessert and even chef Sky was so kind to come out and ask us how the experience was. There is no doubt these two love what they do and this is was makes the experience so heartwarming - leaving me and my partner giggling and sharing sweet kisses all the way back to the car. Thank you Jenn & Sky for your love and passion for food and creating an unforgettable experience.

She explained the menu, walked us through each dish as it was served, took care of our dietary requirements, put a tonne of love into our drinks and honestly made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Sky- has magic hands! Not sure how he cooks the way he does but everything was cooked perfectly. He is the most talented and generous of cooks, sending freebies our way (maybe he felt bad for us 😅). The pair make the perfect duo to run an establishment based on hospitality. After dinner We had the loveliest chat with the two of them after closing hours, at no point were we pushed to leave or felt like we weren’t welcome even though they had been run off their feet most probably all day. We left with full bellies and a big smile On our faces (aswell as lovely compliments on my engagement ring) . The only thing we were upset about was forgetting to leave a tip! We recently dined here with our 3 year old and were initially concerned about bringing a young child to such a nice restaurant. However Jen went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She is warm and friendly, perfect at her job. The food is superb, a real taste sensation. I highly recommend the Boemboe Bali Prawns and Arepas for starter. The entrecoute and pork belly mains were also exceptional. Sky came over to ask us if we were enjoying our meal, which was a lovely touch from the chef. If you are in Faro, you MUST dine here. You won't be disappointed.
