Lovely championship course that has just about survived the drought and government watering restrictions, and with a bit of care and attention could return to its former glory. Unfortunately some of the ancillary areas and the walk from the golf shop to the driving range are marred by overgrown, unused tennis courts and a derelict chipping area that spoil the overall appearance. The driving range really needs a rest, as the tee areas are badly worn and in need of repair. Understaffing in a very busy bar meant we left without getting a much needed drink after a testing round of 18 holes. Disappointing.
