We came here with our 2 small boys and their grandparents last week and had the most wonderful experience! The staff were so friendly and funny and made such a fuss over the kids. Even when my boy ordered chicken Nuggets (which wernt on the menu) and then changed his mind (after they went to the effort of making them) they waiter laughed and told us he was delighted because now he was going to eat the chicken Nuggets himself - the kids found this hilarious! The entire experience was also relaxing and that's before I even get to the food! Outstanding! Scampi and calamari to die for and the steak with gorgonzola sauce is something I still dream about! We dined here twice while in Alvor and found the service, food and atmosphere excellent. We needed dairy free options for our daughter and they were able to provide a vegan pizza which she loved. A couple of vegan options on the menu. Choose the vegan pizza, but unfortunately the bread was not cooked enough and the vegan cheese they had was lumpy and not melted. Went on our first night in alvor. Amazing amazing food and amazing service. Very bubbly staff who made us feel well looked after and like special guests. My fiance got the gluten free pizza and said it is the best gluten free base shes ever had (on top of how good the rest was). I tried some and youd never have known! what an outstanding experience! after a horrific experience at donna maria in carvoeiro, this was the opposite end of the spectrum thanks to the amazing kindness and service from aurelio and bruno. we were warmly welcomed. upon receiving the menus, bruno suggested a few favorites and answered questions. aurelio, with his charismatic, compassionate and thoughtful personality, served us, showing genuine respect and interest in us. we were the 1st table of the night and we watched as the restaurant quickly filled up to capacity. we were overwhelmingly impressed with the smoothness and professionalism in watching aurelio and bruno manage the entire restaurant, serving all tables timely, running all food and making all drinks, all while still providing the time and patience for each table. they weren’t stressed or overwhelmed. they handled it with grace and all the customers were happy. we were incredibly impressed. if i owned a restaurant i would hire these 2 immediately with a high salary. the kindness, compassion and professionalism were unmatched. beautiful menu, also. Amazing food and environment, it feels modern but cosy and with a traditional Italian vibe at the same time.
