Very nice and clean guesthouse at an excellent location. The owner (Emanuel) pays a lot of attention to the hosts and to the details, making sure everything works fine. Emanuel is such an attentive, caring host. He shared information about places to visit and restaurants too. Our room was spotless and comfortable. The shared living spaces were charming. We had the best stay at the Laranjal Guesthouse. If we had more time, we would have stayed longer. Accommodation was extremely clean, we had access to washing machine and there was an awesome welcome food pack on arrival. The hosts were just lovely and made us feel so welcome - Obrigado! Our host was incredibly helpful and communicative. Every detail was taken care of and when we arrived he took care to give us a moment before taking us on our tour. There is a washing machine, a coffee maker (and our breakfast bag had a k-cup for it), and full kitchen to use. It is quiet. Emanuel was a great host and we really enjoyed our stay! He left a box of snacks for us and a bottle of water. He also came by with a bottle of Port while we’re checking in.
