Realising I would get there after check-in hours, I sent e-mails and chats (no WhatsApp contact to call) but received no reply to confirm if late arrival is OK. This poor remote communication experience was the complete opposite to the smooth check-in and a warm welcome (coupled with a complementary drink). Really beautiful, spacious rooms but uneven beds and floors make every movement heard. Socket by my bed did not work. Needs better cleaning. Still, a fun, superbly located spot with decent facilities, exceptional breakfast, on-site bar, reliable wifi, and a nice crew. Quartos realmente bonitos e espaçosos, mas camas e pisos irregulares fazem com que todos os movimentos sejam ouvidos. A tomada ao lado da minha cama não funcionou. Precisa de uma limpeza melhor. Ainda assim, um local divertido e soberbamente localizado, com instalações decentes, café da manhã excepcional, bar no local, wi-fi confiável e uma equipe simpática.

Extremely uncomfortable and scary situation in this hostel, as the receptionist locked himself in the room multiple times when i was alone and tried to kiss me on the mouth, against my will. I could not tell anyone either as he was in the reception. I was terrified to sleep there that night. Tried to email the hostel, they did not believe me. What a great place to stay in the heart of Lisbon. Conveniently located and able to walk everywhere we needed to. We stayed in the suites and our room overlooked the park across street with the most amazing view of the city. Loved the art deco decor and laid back vibe of staff. A little bit of street noise at night but not bad at all. (Traduzido pelo Google) Que ótimo lugar para ficar no coração de Lisboa. Convenientemente localizado e capaz de caminhar para todos os lugares que precisávamos. Ficamos nas suítes e nosso quarto tinha vista para o parque do outro lado da rua, com a vista mais incrível da cidade. Adorei a decoração art déco e a vibração descontraída da equipe. Um pouco de barulho da rua à noite, mas nada mal.

This hostel is great location-wise. I liked the spacious common areas. There are some in every floors. Loved it for the the free breakfast as well. The lady who monitors the operation is so sweet. Taking off two stars for two things: the creaky 3-high-stacked beds and the conditions of the rest/shower rooms. I was lucky enough to have stayed at the bottom bunk and didn’t suffer the blinding lights and difficult stairs. However, whenever the 3rd bunk moved, all three beds would move. I’m a light sleeper, I try to help it by using ear plugs and an eye mask- but it could get pretty difficult to sleep when you’re woken up by your bed creaking, and swaying side to side. The condition of the bathroom was subpar at best. There was panties hung on one hook for the two nights I stayed there, I think staff should’ve taken the initiative and thrown it out. I doubt they did even when I left. The shower mats were sliding while in use. I was very cautious while showering since I slipped probably 3 times. Overall, this would have been the perfect hostel for me in Lisboa. I love the city very much. I would’ve loved to come back to this hostel due to its location but I’d have to think twice about doing so in the future. (Traduzido pelo Google) Este albergue é excelente em termos de localização. Tive a sorte de ter ficado no beliche de baixo e não sofrer as luzes ofuscantes e as escadas difíceis. Porém, sempre que o terceiro beliche fosse movido, todas as três camas se moveriam. Tenho sono leve, tento ajudar usando protetores de ouvido e máscara para os olhos - mas pode ficar muito difícil dormir quando você acorda com a cama rangendo e balançando de um lado para o outro. A condição do banheiro era, na melhor das hipóteses, abaixo da média. Havia calcinha pendurada em um gancho durante as duas noites em que fiquei lá, acho que o pessoal deveria ter tomado a iniciativa e jogado fora. Duvido que tenham feito isso mesmo quando eu saí. Os tapetes do chuveiro deslizavam durante o uso. Fui muito cauteloso durante o banho, pois escorreguei provavelmente três vezes. No geral, este teria sido o hostel perfeito para mim em Lisboa. Eu amo muito a cidade. Eu adoraria voltar a este albergue devido à sua localização, mas teria que pensar duas vezes antes de fazê-lo no futuro.

The hostel and location was great, super lovely and accommodating staff, beautiful old building with a fabulous free breakfast. Only downside was the design of the dorm (I stayed in a 6 bed room) the beds are stacked 3 high, and creak loudly with any movement. Same with the floor boards. There’s no main light in the room, only small individual lights beside each bed. This is to stop the person in the top bunk from being blinded by a ceiling light, so I respect that. I slept on the top bunk (with no curtains) and the light from the streets was a bit bright (no curtains on the windows either). Overall I enjoyed my stay, just didn’t get the best sleep but it is a hostel so it is what it is! The kitchen is quite small and not very well equipped, while I was there I didn’t notice anyone cooking, and it was hard to find 2 mugs for tea. But with the free breakfast and delicious food in the city, it’s easy to not need to use the kitchen. Be prepared to walk up some steep streets to get there and enjoy Lisbon! Dormi no beliche de cima (sem cortinas) e a luz da rua era um pouco forte (sem cortinas nas janelas também). No geral, gostei da minha estadia, só não dormi bem, mas é um albergue, então é o que é! A cozinha é bastante pequena e não muito bem equipada, enquanto estive lá não notei ninguém cozinhando e foi difícil encontrar 2 canecas para o chá. Mas com o café da manhã grátis e a comida deliciosa da cidade, é fácil não precisar usar a cozinha. Esteja preparado para subir algumas ruas íngremes para chegar lá e desfrutar de Lisboa!
