We had the best time ♥️ accidentally dropped in for lunch and absolutely loved it. So friendly staff and really funny - felt like being at a friends place. Superb little restaurant in the charming area along Rua Dos Caldeireiros. We made reservations in advance for dinner since there are not many tables and it is popular. We tried the tuna pate, the mixed cheese board, the Portuguese chorizo, a mixed salad and the codfish croquettes, plus the amazing chocolate cake. Everything was wonderful and the service is warm and caring plus prices are reasonable. Highly recommend dinner at Have a Bite! Provámos o patê de atum, a tábua de queijos mistos, o chouriço à portuguesa, a salada mista e os croquetes de bacalhau, além do fantástico bolo de chocolate. Tudo foi maravilhoso e o serviço é caloroso e atencioso e os preços são razoáveis. Recomendo jantar no Have a Bite!

This is the first place that we stopped when we were in Porto. It is really small and absolutely a great place to stop and get some food, wine and beer. The food was really good and a glass of the wine of the day is $3.50. The young fella that took care of us was so nice and told us about the food and that they were serving. We have a one and done rule when we’re traveling, but, if I were going to break the rule it would be at this place. A comida era muito boa e uma taça de vinho do dia custa US$ 3,50. O jovem que cuidou de nós foi muito simpático e nos contou sobre a comida e o que estavam servindo. Temos uma regra certa quando estamos viajando, mas, se eu fosse quebrar a regra, seria neste lugar.

There are many reason why there is such a high rating. Small, cosy,lovely tapas restaurant. Small to medium size menu, everything fresh and delicious. I cannot say about the stuff. There was not stuff. There was just a nice company serving us the dishes and chatting, amazing guys.
