A miserable rainy night, we were two slightly downhearted and damp walkers with little expectation of anything other than a warm meal. Instead we were greeted with sunny service, a crackling fire, great local beers and dishes based on recipes shared by the owner’s Brazilian grandmother. Casa do Mar sem Fim has a whole lot of heart and the feijoada with black beans, chorizo and eye-watering chilli sauce is the dish that proves the point. A thoroughly cheering evening that we can highly recommend. Good food but really expensive the price compared with the quality of the dish, all the food was cold when it arrived and the portions were not sufficient. We spent more than 1 hour just waiting for the food, and the restaurant was almost free, so there was no justification on that. This restaurant is absolutely wonderful. I come here often with the family. The food is great as is the service. Great value. Highly recommend as a great value yummy meal. Great to have more of an international flare menu in this part of the Portugal. Best burgers this side of the Sintra bills.
